Where is the Love?

This topic, more than being gay, is merely universal and we all feel identified with it regardless of gender or sexual preference.

Many of us have asked that question without knowing the answer is hidden but also in the sight of we all.

We always look for love in other people, spend our lives trying to find the beloved one, the "Prince Charming", "our other half"... forgetting the love that really matters, that love that fills our souls above all things...

Love is in ourselves!

Love is ourselves!

Love is the way we see ourselves!

How can we expect to love or be loved, if we do not love ourselves?

"As I learned to have self-love, I realized that forever, no matter the circumstances, I am in the right time and place, so I should just relax... now I know that this is all about self-confidence.
-Charles. Chaplin "

It is very easy to try to find love where there is none. Have you ever imagined what it would be like to have love in spades? Well you can have it!

The first thing to do is accept and love ourselves as we are, then we can we give the love we expect to receive, cause you get what you give, life is responsible to teach that valuable lesson that has to do with love for ourselves. Because, how can we love someone if we do not love ourselves?

"Self-esteem goes hand in hand with acceptance"

We must learn to accept all we are, with our strengths and weaknesses, taking into consideration the mistakes we may make in the way, they have a remedy, nothing is final and it can certainly change those weaknesses in order to strengthen our qualities.

The acceptance process can be long and tedious but remember:

"Patience is bitter but its fruits are sweet"

START TODAY So, look in the mirror and smile, tell your reflection how beautiful it is and how much you love it. Take some time to change your perception of yourself and focus only on the positive points; all the qualities you have .

Think of the many people who want to be like you (because there are a lot, believe me).

If you're short, tall, skinny, chubby. Love yourself much!

If you're black or white, or if you have curly or straight hair, remember that there is always someone who would like to have the qualities that you see as flaws. Everything depends on the focus! Accept and treasure the things you can not change of yourself.

Do whatever you have to do to love you trully, if you want to lose weight, do some exercise! If you want to gain weight, eat more! [that has worked for me, lol]

To give love, we must love ourselves so we can  have love to share. The best way to start cultivating that love is beginning to sow the seed in us! Loving us, so we can give love to others.
